The original buildings provided less of the lightweight pavilion floating in its incomparable site than it might have been: hard-edged subdued blockwork, metal cladding and glass computer-assembly factory and offices sunk into the site to minimise impact. Civilised and light interior with magical views. Extended considerably by The Holmes Partnership.
