This site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. Buildings are depicted here on the 1st edition OS map (1870s), with an enclosure at NH 6162 9140. The buildings are not shown on any subsequent maps, although the enclosure still is.
A walkover revealed a turf dyke of the enclosure still standing.
