A building was recorded at this site during an archaeological desktop survey for the Resolis Water Mains Renewal Project. It is marked as an icehouse on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps of 1880 and 1907. It is marked as a mound on a provisional OS map of 1959 and the 1:10,000 OS map of 1992, but is not named. It is not marked on the latest OS map or on aerial photographs.

NH 70819 67133 A watching brief was undertaken in July 2011 during work associated with the construction of a garage/studio. The site was considered sensitive as it lay to the N of an ice-house (NH76NW 115). No archaeological deposits or features were recorded.
