A building was recorded at this site during an archaeological desktop survey for the Resolis Water Mains Renewal Project. It is marked as a roofed building on the OS 1st edition map of 1880 and as unroofed on the 2nd edition of 1907. It is not marked on the latest OS map, but could be seen as an outline with two compartments on an aerial photograph of 1969.
