An L-shaped building was recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. The building is complete but in a dangerous condition. It consists of a rubble base with corrugated iron walls and roof and brick additions. It was possibly a former bunkhouse for beaters and ghillies, etc. It is marked on the 1992 OS map, but not the latest OS map or the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
