Archaeology Notes

ND34SW 466 ND 30540 41486

This hut-circle is situated in the middle of a terrace in moorland about 150m E of the Burn of Warehouse. It measures 6.9m in diameter within stony bank 2.2m in thickness and up to 0.4m in height. The entrance is on the SSW and there are faint traces of a groove on the crest of the bank on the N. The bank has been cut through on the W, and an old peat-cutting lies immediately to the E of the hut-circle.
