NO04SE 27 c. 072 421.

About a mile and a half NW from Caputh Church, in a very elevated situation, there is a small 'Druidical' circle. Beside it are the stones described on NO04SE 2. (cf NO04SE 4).

Field Visit (21 June 1989)

The author of the Statistical Account mentions a 'Druidical circle' close to the standing stones NO14SE 2. He may have been referring to a now-destroyed stone circle, or possibly to a denuded cairn (NO14SE 4) which was removed before 1865.
