A shallow grass-grown quarry, measuring 45m from N to S by 6m transversely and 0.4m in depth, is situated about 40m N of the farmstead ND34SW 292.
The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
