ND34SW 233 31910 42958

This disused quarry, which is situated on an E-facing slope in heather moorland 270m W of the ruins of Whiteleen farmstead (ND34SW 126), comprises several small worked outcrops within an area measuring about 45m from N to S by 30m transversely.

The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
