Archaeology Notes

ND49NE 20.03 c. 4567 9675

An arc of four circular platforms is situated immediately to the SW of the gun-emplacements. They have a diameter of approximately 15m and would appear to mirror the arc of permanent emplacements. These are probably a dummy anti-aircraft site, built in an attempt to fool the enemy into thinking this was a full battery of eight guns rather than one of only four.
