PSYCHE, H.M. steam cruiser PSYCHE got foul of an anchor in Granton East Harbour this forenoon and sunk. (Granton, Jan. 10).

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), possibly assuming her successful recovery.

A location at NT c. 240 776 may be tentatively suggested for the sinking.
