Archaeology Notes

HY41SE 52.02 46723 14483

A single storey Battery Observation Tower (BoP) is situated about 40m S of the central gun-emplacement at a slightly higher level. Constructed of shuttered concrete and brick with steel girders supporting the roof and front canopy. The viewing platform is on the N side and there is a flat roofed concrete rectangular BoP shelter immediately to the W.

The building was not entered on the date of visit.
