A stone hammer of flinty slate, polished and perforated, 4 1/4 ins. long by 2 1/4 ins. wide, with a straight-sided perforation, found at Newmills, Balgowan, was purchased for the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) 1910-11.
