The GLASGOW, of Glasgow, from Gothenburg to Ireland, was lost near Wick 7th inst. One man drowned. Most of the cargo will be saved.

The map sheet assigned to this record is essentiallly arbitrary. It remains unclear whether the vessel stranded or foundered, but the cited expectation of the recovery of the cargo suggests the former.
