OS 6" map (1959)

The surviving stone of a possible stone circle, 90ft in diameter, which consisted in 1910 of 5 stones, of which one only remained erect (see stone 'C' on plan.

F R Coles 1911

Nothing now remains of this stone circle. The last erect stone (C) was removed by the farmer c. 1960, and lies on the grass verge by the road-side at NO 0581 2901. It is a large triangular block 0.7m thick with sides measuring about 1.3m.
