ND06NW 145.01 ND 02254 69371 Building; Radio Masts (possible)

A small radio station of probable WW II date has been identified from a RAF vertical air photograph (106G/Scot/UK133, 4093, flown 30 June 1946) on a track leading N from the A 836 road to the postwar Wireless station (WT) 550m to the N (ND06NW 131).

Visible are two huts with the small lattice mast immediately N of the hut at ND 02417 69195. This small installation may be related to the larger hut noted to the S of the A 836 at ND 02254 69371 (ND06NW 145.01.

The postwar WT station lies within a fenced enclosure to the N.
