19, 20 The Square, early 19th century. Set back in one long, five-window, two-storey frontage of squared rubble. No 20 is slightly earlier, with moulded chimney copes and forestair at back. No 19 was the birthplace of Mackay of Uganda (1849-90) and bears commemorative plaque.
