Archaeology Notes

NO88NE 343 87786 85529

NO 8779 8554 - A watching brief was carried out during excavations for the installation of a waste water transfer pumping station and associated buildings. The site was beside the Old Tolbooth where three long cist burials had been unearthed in 1957. No archaeological features or finds were evident.
