Archaeology Notes

NN96NW 9 9035 6610

A cairn, standing on a low natural hillock about 600 yds SSW of the S end of Loch Moraig, was noted by the RCAHMS in 1942 (area: NN 902 658). Covered with grass and heather, it measured 36ft by 32ft and was reduced to 1ft in height. The dug-out interior contained two side-slabs of a cist.
