Around and in the area centred at NN 9123 6700 are the remains of four farmsteads forming the settlement of Cean na Moine (A Macrae, garage proprietor, Blair Atholl). It comprises thirty-two buildings, six kilns, several associated enclosures and a head dyke.
The remains vary from completely grass covered walls 0.3m high to dry stone walls 1.5m high and the buildings range from 27.0m x 4.0m to 2.0m x 2.0m. Depopulation commenced about 1850.

This township which comprises four farmsteads, three of which are named, an enclosure (NN 910 666) and a head-dyke that surrounds them all, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1867, sheet xxi). The farmsteads comprise:
1. Ruidh Moraig (NN 912 673), one roofed, two partially roofed, two unroofed buildings and three enclosures.
2. Cairnbaddie (NN 917 673), four unroofed buildings, which are annotated as Ruins and one of which is a long building of two compartments, and two enclosures.
3. Kennamone (NN 914 669), nine unroofed buildings, which are annotated as Ruins and two of which are long buildings and two enclosures.
4. (NN 9105 6679), three unroofed buildings, one of which is L-shaped, and an enclosure.
The farmsteads, all unnamed, and the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973). They comprise:
1. Six unroofed buildings and two enclosures.
2. Three unroofed buildings and two enclosures.
3. Eleven unroofed buildings.
4. One unroofed building.
