NLO: Ballantrae [name: NX 081 825].

Stranraer, Dec. 16, a mud punt or barge has been washed ashore on the rocks near Ballantrae, and, owing to the rough weather, has broken up. When found it was bottom up, and is supposed to be one that broke adrift from the tug steamer FLYING FOAM on the 10th inst., when towing it from Bowling to Silloth.

Source: Shipping Intelligence, LL, No. 20,794, London, Saturday December 18 [1880].
