On the E side of the Moulin road within the Hydropathic grounds is a knoll known as "Cnoc dubh", traditionally a site of pagan worship. A stone circle stood here, but the stones are said to have been used to build Balnadrum farmhouse fully 100 years ago.

This natural knoll is at NN 9424 5871. The name is no longer known. The greater part of ithas been removed by the construction of a tennis court. There is no trace nor local knowledge of the alleged stone circle.
