Possible small quarries and ploughed-down rig have been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2000) lying on gently sloping ground immediately NE of Tarscavaig. At least three large macular cropmarks lie to the E and W of an area of rig, and these may be quarries. Beside the W quarries are two rows of three pits, which may be a pit-setting
