Peterhead, 7th Nov., the SCOTTISH MAID (Off. No. 47,209), Smith, which drifted on the rocks at Boddam yesterday, remains fast, and is bilged: she was bound for Hamburg.

(Classified as schooner, with cargo of herring: date of loss cited as 7 November 1872). Scottish Maid: this vessel was wrecked at the entrance to Boddam harbour. Capt. Smith.
