What may be a ring-ditch has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2000) lying on the S bank of the River South Esk about 400m ENE of Broomknowe. The ring-ditch measures about 8m in diameter with an entrance on the NE.
