(Location re-entered as NO c. 576 345 [N56 30.10 W2 41.40]). The location assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary, being derived from the evidence of the current edition of the OS (GIS) MasterMap. This notes West Haven [NAT] inland, around NO 574 351, but applies Harbour [NAT] to a small gap in the rocks around NO 576 346, opposite the E end of the current built-up area of Carnoustie.

The location of Westhaven (West Haven) coastguard station cannot be ascertained from the available map evidence.
