A roofless byre (URQ97 149) stands on the N side of the track leading to the cottage at East Balchraggan. The 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xxix) depicts it as roofed, together with the cottage, but there is now no trace of a third building shown to the E.
