Field Visit (23 October 1997)

This C-shaped burnt mound is situated to the NE of a bend in a tributary of the Allt a' Choire Mhoir. It measures 8.3m from NE to SW by 6.2m transversely by up to 1m in height, and the hollow on its open side faces NE. Lifting a turf revealed heat-shattered stone in a matrix of blackened soil.
