Field Visit (20 October 1997)

This kidney-shaped burnt mound lies on the E of a drain in boggy ground between the improved fields of Upperton and the public road to Drumnadrochit. It measures 8.7m from E to W by 4.3m transversely and 0.6m in height. There is a slight hollow in the N side of the mound, and what may be another spread of burnt mound material lies to the S of the E part of the mound.
