6 August 1873, RACER, 12 yrs old, of Wick, lugger, 14 tons, 5 crew, Master J. Gunn, Owner J. Miller, departed Wick, for fishing, in ballast, stranded, total loss, 4 lives lost, wind S6, 1.5 miles N. of Wick Bay.
