Archaeology Notes

NN84NE 28 8574 4868.

Area: NN 858 487. A bronze leaf-shaped spearhead was found in the garden of the Moness Hotel. Reasonably well preserved, it belongs to Coles' Class D, 14th/19th century BC. It has side loops and measures 0.1m long and 0.25m at its greatest width.

Clark 1971.

This spearhead was found on the surface by Miss E Clark in 1971 whilst gardening at NN 8574 4868. It is now in Perth Museum. (Accession no: 1985.152)

Visited by OS (J B) 6 March 1975.
