Archaeology Notes

NN82SW 22 83 23.

In the possession of Sir William Murray of Ochtertyre (NN 8387 2362) are a bronze spearhead (broken), two bronze axeheads (one flanged, one socketed), an ornamented stone ball, a bronze dagger, a leaf-shaped bronze sword, two stone axeheads and two triangular-shaped flint axeheads (one buff coloured, one blue coloured - see NN82SW 10).

Most of the objects are considered to have been found on the Ochtertyre estate at one time or other, but none recently. No further information.
