A pillbox is visible on a postwar vertical air photograph (RAF 106G/Scot/UK5, 3203 flown 14 April 1946) between the perimeter track and the Kenly Burn about 150m SE of NO51SE 62.03.

The pillbox is depicted on current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
