Cuilcheanna House ('Cul Cheanna' - hollow of the headland), later 18th and 19th centuries. Reconstruction of 17th century cottage as a tacksman's house, later transformed into a generously-glazed double pile villa. Originally the house of a branch of the Camerons of Callart, Cuilcheanna is noteworthy for the remarkable quality of its late 18th century garden wall. It is constructed of great pink-grey granite blocks laid in diminishing courses between slate pinnings, topped with massive slate slabs.
