Field Visit

NT71SE 147 77677 12989 and 77677 12917

The remains of a stell are situated on haughland to the W of the Capehope Burn, at the foot of the E flank of Langside Law, 150m NE of Streethouse. Its wall is now reduced to stone footings. A cluster of enclosures defined by stony banks, which are situated in an area of rushes about 70m to the S, are probably small sheepfolds (NT 77677 12917).
