Watching Brief (31 July 2013 - 6 September 2013)
HY 40358 07269 – HY 44570 10438 A watching brief was carried out, 31 July – 6 September 2013, between Linty Brae and Greenigoe on the A964, and in Kirkwall, as part of a water pipe replacement and improvement scheme. A total of 14 small trenches were monitored, but no finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded.
