Archaeology Notes

NN74NE 42 c. 784 491.

Area NN 784 493 A cup-marked stone found in a ruined wall behind Tullochville farm, measures 1'3" x 1'1". Three of its sides have been cut and on the flat surface is a large hollow, diameter 5", depth 1 3/4". The stone is now in the farm steading.

Now lying loose in an outhouse at Tullochville farm. This is a mortar not a cup marked stone.
