A pillbox is situated about 50m NW of Thurdistoft farmhouse (ND26NW 43) adjacent to a fence. The pillbox, visible on a postwar vertical air photograph (RAF CPE /Scot/UK/264, 3036, flown 14 August 1947), was not examined on the date of visit.
