Aberuchill Castle (published as 'Aberuchill' on OS 6" at NN 7450 2116) is a large rambling building mainly of 19th-century construction, but the original 17th century L-planned tower is easy to trace and higher than the later work.

As described above. The tower may be dated to 1602 on the evidence of a crest on the W wall. Now known as 'Aberuchill'.
