360-392 Dumbarton Road, former Hamilton Place, c.1860

Extremely long white sandstone tenement over ground-floor shops. Decent pattern book design but end pavilions provide inadequate punctuation. Nos 271-285, c.1905, Campbell Douglas & Paterson, tall red sandstone tenement, in the simplified and elongated Baroque of the Glasgow Style.

Taken from "Greater Glasgow: An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Sam Small, 2008. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
