(Location cited as NJ 6582 6320 and name as Knock Thunder). This auxiliary army secret hideout formerly lay within former woodland (cleared after the war) to the S of Hills of Boyndie. It is now destroyed and no remains are visible, but the present farmer recalls the structure being revealed by collapse.

Set into a gentle slope at an altitude of 45m OD, it comprised two Anderson shelters of corrugated iron, linked with a series of large concrete pipes forming entrance and escape tunnels.

NMRS, MS/712/110.
