(Location cited as NJ 6783 6046 and name as Rob's Knowe). This auxiliary army secret hideout formerly lay within the woodland covering Rob's Knowe to the S of Mill of Alvah (NJ66SE 228). It is now destroyed but the present farmer recalls seeing the structure.

Set into a steep slope at an altitude of 75m OD, it comprised two probable Anderson shelters of corrugated iron, linked with a series of large concrete pipes forming entrance and escape tunnels.

NMRS, MS/712/110.
