NT33NW 107 30039 39069

This intermediate station on the Peebles-Galshiels branch of the former North British Rly was opened (by the Innerleithen and Galashiels Rly) on 10 October 1864. It closed to regular passenger traffic on 5 February 1962.

Identified by Mark Douglas (20/02/97). Is in general good repair, complete with platform, clerk's ticket office, waiting room, gent's urinal. The fireplaces have been robbed and the drinking fountain is also gone.
