Inventory of Household Furniture indicates the lay-out of the rooms of the house.

1839 GD 161/Box 24/Bundle 2

In addition to the obelisk sundial (NN60NW 29.01), a Pilkington and Gibbs heliochronometer (MS 5741/10/45) and a 'mid 19th century baluster sundial with an interesting face' (Historic Scotland) have been recorded at Leny House. The possibility that both descriptions might relate to the same monument has not been investigated, but what seems to be the heliochronometer on a baluster plinth appears in photographs PT4433 and PT4434 on the lawn southwest of the house.
