Station opened 13.3.1886, (Killin Railway). Closed to passengers 9.9.1939, and to goods 28.9.1965.

This terminal station on the Killin branch of the former Caledonian Rly was opened as Loch Tay (Killin Pier) Station by the Killin Rly on 1 April 1886. It was renamed Loch Tay Station on 1 October 1895 and closed to regular passenger traffic on 9 September 1939. It was built for the convenience of loch steamer tourists rather than to serve the village itself.
