NH76NW 110 7093 6700

NH 7093 6700 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken as part of a house development in the vicinity of a number of archaeological sites, in particular lying to the S of the site of an 11th-century chapel (NH76NW 2). Features revealed included a number of field drains of rubble, clay and plastic pipe, and one small pit, possibly used for watering livestock.

Archaeological Evaluation (January 2007)

NH 70943 67026 An evaluation was undertaken during January 2007 at Newhall Point prior to a planning application for a small house development. The site lies adjacent to the site of an 11th-century chapel (NH76NW 2). This follows from previous work (DES 2002, 77) conducted by the author to the S. Work in

January 2007 revealed no archaeological deposits or features.
