Archaeology Notes

NH79SE 48 7882 9421

NH 7882 9421 A watching brief in November 2001 was maintained on the excavation of a housing plot and associated access and services. The site lies very close to an abandoned 19th-century crofthouse.

No archaeological features or deposits of interest were revealed. The only finds were some white-glazed pottery from the topsoil (not retained). The development area had seen some disturbance due to an existing modern structure.

Full report deposited in Highland SMR and the NMRS.

Sponsor: Mr J Barnes.
