(Location cited as NS 478 645). St Mirren Works, McDowall [MacDowall] Street, built c. 1860 as a soap works. A 3-storey, 4-bay, coursed-rubble office block, built round a tall circular-section brick chimney and a range of red-brick buildings: 6 storey, 4 by 5 bay with a projecting stair and water-tower; 4 storey, 8 bay; 2 storey, 3 bay; and 4 storey, 17 bay. Disused.
