Architect T Somers M.Inst C.E. The pavilion of the Corporation of the City of Glasgow to illustrate the work of the City's four great trading departments- Water, Transport, Gas and Electricity. The building included a suite for the use of the Lord Provost and Members of the Corporation to receive guests from England and Overseas. The pavilion was to be retained as a permanent centre for the sports park which was to be laid out over the Exhibition site at a later date.
