Architecture Notes

NS56SW 39.10 c.5470 6349

Architect, T S Tait F.R.I.B.A., built for the colonies of Nigeria, the Gold Coast and Sierra Leone all of whom had separate courts within the pavilion. The decoration over the respective entrances indicated their relative size and their position on the African Coast. In the entrance hall was a composite exhibit of the principal products coomon to the territories.
